This full-time role offers an attractive hourly rate of £22.50 and the opportunity to work in a tranquil countryside setting, providing specialist neurological and complex care services.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed nursing assessments and produce written patient care reports.
- Collaborate with the management team to enhance service quality and support audits.
- Participate in ongoing professional development and clinical training sessions.
- Develop and maintain individual care plans alongside residents and families.
- Administer prescribed medications following strict clinical protocols.
- Provide complex care including stoma care, spinal injury management, tracheostomy care, suctioning, catheter care, and enteral feeding.
- Support patient recovery and empower independence wherever possible.
- Adhere to all relevant legal regulations and up-to-date nursing practices.
Requirements & Qualifications
- Valid Registered Nurse qualification with current NMC PIN.
- Strong documentation and clinical reporting skills.
- Experience or knowledge in neurological and complex care (e.g., stoma or spinal injury care is advantageous).
- Awareness of Mental Health Act 1983 and modern nursing practices.
- Ability to undertake or lead audits and act as clinical lead as needed.
- Compassionate, open, resilient personality with emphasis on patient-centred care.
- Ability to work shifts, including days, nights, and weekends.
